One of the most common muscle problems patients report in our office is hamstring injuries. This is no coincidence because tight hamstrings can pull on your lower back and cause pain. They can even contribute to your knee, hip, and sciatic leg pain. Nerve irritation due to a misalignment in your lower back can also cause your hamstrings to always be tight.

Tight Hamstrings Treatments
If the stretch above does not relieve your tight hamstrings you can also try foam roller therapy. A deep tissue massage or a chiropractic instrument treatment to relax the muscle will also help. If your pelvis or hips are rotated they also can pull on the back of your leg.
